The Planting Ceremony
A sacred community gathering where we plant the first seeds of Sunflower Crown Academy’s legacy in South Fulton. Join us as we root our mission, honor our girls, and grow our village together.
Planting Legacy. Growing Leaders.
Sunflower Crown Academy Foundation cultivates radical brilliance, leadership, and generational influence in girls across South Fulton. Your support helps us plant symbolic seeds of hope, unity, and youth empowerment through our inaugural Planting Ceremony.
The Planting Ceremony marks the beginning of Sunflower Crown Academy’s legacy in South Fulton, a living symbol of the brilliance, leadership, and generational influence we cultivate in every girl we serve. Inspired by the teachings of Mary McLeod Bethune, we believe in planting seeds that grow far beyond the moment. Each sunflower represents a future leader, a strengthened family, and a community rising together in purpose. Your support helps us provide planting materials, youth programming, cultural education workshops, and community‑centered experiences that uplift girls ages 5–17. Every dollar you give becomes a seed, and every seed becomes a legacy.
$10 — Seed Sponsor Helps provide sunflower seeds, soil, and planting materials.

The Foundation
The Foundation is the heart of our work — the place where ideas become programs, and programs become impact. We build initiatives that uplift girls and strengthen families through education, leadership development, cultural enrichment, and community partnerships. Our focus is long‑term: creating systems, opportunities, and support networks that help South Fulton’s girls grow into confident, capable young women who know their worth and walk in their brilliance.
The Academy is our future private school, inspired by the legacy of Mary McLeod Bethune and rooted in the belief that education is liberation. It will be a culturally affirming, academically rigorous environment where minority girls are nurtured, challenged, and celebrated. The Academy will offer leadership training, STEM and arts enrichment, cultural studies, wellness programs, and a sisterhood‑centered approach that prepares girls to lead in their homes, schools, and communities..
The Academy
The Sunflower Crown Gala is our signature leadership and scholarship event — a celebration of brilliance, culture, and community. More than a pageant, it is a rite of passage: a space where girls step into confidence, showcase their gifts, and receive mentorship and support. The Gala fuels our scholarships, youth programs, and community initiatives, ensuring that every girl who participates leaves with pride, purpose, and a deeper sense of who she is.
